This will be a constant expanding article with links possibly going out of date occasionally (Microsoft!), I'll add to it when I encounter more.
Recovery
Windows installers:
These programs will download and setup a Windows Bootable image either to ISO or USB drive. It's advisable to keep a bootable USB for your system for quick repairs and recovery. You can also make your own from your System Settings under Recovery.
If you want a Repair/Install USB drive made, we can do this for you for the cost of a drive (around £5 depending on sizes available and stock)
Malware/virus repairs/prevention
MalwareBytesSo many running issues lately, we can't recommend.- ADWCleaner A standalone portable scanner and removal tool, owned by MalwareBytes now
- ESET Currently considered as its not owned by McAfee, Avast or Nortons/Symantec/LifeLock (yet.)
You might notice that I don't recommend the high cost Anti Virus solutions on here, why?
They aren't value for money and interfere and frustrate users when they aren't going right and hike up prices for renewals. Not a tactic I believe should exist.
Majority of cases, Microsoft Defender is usually enough to block unwanted programs or automatically remove threats.
